This seminar will show you the value of using social media to reach your customers, how it can lead to new customers and how it drives repeat business from your current customers. We’ll take a look at the five most popular social media networks: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest, and will help you decide what is right for your business. We’ll also look at what comes next: how and what to post on social media​.

The Succinct Business Plan

This workshop offers a unique approach to thinking about, researching, documenting, writing and selling a Business Plan in three pages of text with three spreadsheets. The objective is to set you on a path to developing a well thought out, well documented, realistic, verifiable, creditable Business Plan. Discussion will be on how to produce the plan appropriate to your needs and situation.  Beginning and working from the template described in the introductory talk, you'll work on business plan concepts and techniques and how you can go about getting yours done with a minimum of work and agony. ​

How to Use QuickBooks to Manage Your Business Finances (I)

You have started your own business. Now what? You have bills to pay, customer sales to track, and taxes to file which requires paper, paper, and more paper.   If you have turned to QuickBooks™ for help, and now you find you would like help using the program, this SCORE Workshop is for you, and it is free!

This workshop will provide practical, easy to use guidance and tips to help ensure that your Chart of Accounts gets you to the right financial information, and that it aligns with your use of QuickBooks.  Participants are welcome to bring a laptop with QuickBooks™ loaded so they can follow along with the presenter, Elizabeth Santaus.​ ​
