The State of Connecticut has created the Connecticut CARES Small Business Grant Program to help small businesses and nonprofits in the state that continue to be negatively impacted by COVID-19.
Small businesses and nonprofits in Connecticut that meet the Eligibility Requirements can apply for a one-time grant of $5,000. The Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) will administer the program; online applications are estimated to begin the week of November 9. All funding will be disbursed by the end of the year. The program is funded from Connecticut's portion of the Federal CARES Act.
More information can be found at portal.ct.gov/DECD, or by calling the DECD's Express Hotline at (860) 500-2333 or emailing decdctrecovery@ct.gov. See below for a few quick links.
